Now that I scaaared the living crap out of everyone with yesterday's "DARK SIDE" blog, I thought I'd better balance up the scales with a nice Doctor Feelgood story. And why not try Angel Dust, a favourite subject of mine. There are soooo many angel books at the library. Readers seem to be fascinated by them. And why not. Angels are beautiful dead people with wings. Oh, insensitive! Oh, sorry, I didn't mean to be. But they are. Well sorta, kinda. I'm pretty sure they are all dead people and anyone's perception of an angel includes wings, I think. Doesn't it dot? Sorta like this one.......

Everyone should have their own personal angel, one that is very special. One that looks after you. So if this little dearly departed doggy is sitting on your shoulder right now then he is saying "Ruff, rrruff" which is thank you for the memories in doggy speak. And if you are a hot blooded Aussie male it should be comforting to know that there is a doggy awaiting you any time you look over your shoulder......

Then of course there are the angels that need to acclimatise depending on where you live. Some angels are cold. In which case it is nice if you could maybe make up a nice warm glass of milk before bedtime, just to say thanks for watching over you. Then there are the angels that are just soooo HOT! I mean busting out hot. Like aaarrgghhmm, I think I'd better get off this subject. I'm starting to get all sort of aaarrgghhmm, sorta sweaty, like my angel here. Now just before bedtime you need to give this sort of angel a good.......aaarrgghhmmm.....sorry....wotdot? Huh? Off the subject? What was the subject again? Oh yeah, 'angel dust'. Oh I know. There is a nice little legend that says.......
Before a baby is born
God sends his angel down to earth
God kisses the angel
Before it leaves
And when the angel arrives
It sprinkles angel dust and God's kisses
Over each baby born.........
Brings a tear to ma eye every time. Back to my journey tomorrow. Just like Angel here things are hottin' up, dottie!
