"Hey dude....wait up!"
Cute photo, huh? As you know I just luuuurve the old style photos, especially those that feature kids like this little darling.
"Every picture tells a story, don't it?" are the words to that well known song. And every picture does.
It's funny, the people that I have known for a long time and know what I am doing (like making a total fool of myself!!) tell me that they just couldn't do what I am, sorta dropping everything that I am qualified and experienced in and chasing a dream, re-inventing myself and learning a whole lotta stuff from scratch. And there is no doubt all of those people are right. I AM NUTS!
BUT....
I also know where I am going and I like that place a lot better than any of the places I've been before. So I'm going. A bit scary maybe, but I'm still going. I know what I want to do and I know how to get there. There are sooooo many STEPS and even more obstacles to overcome. In fact the place where I am going is ALMOST impossible to get to. But it IS possible. It's a long and tedious trip but provides a lot of adrenalin and motivation to get there. The challenge is mine, and mine only.
See dot, that place I am going is simply a picture, just like the one above. One of the things I have learned is how to create a story for a picture. Even while I am typing this my creativity is running wild, putting a story, or even a film screenplay, to that one solitary picture or photo. It really isn't hard. It takes dedication. It takes commitment. And there is a fair bit of learning involved as well.
So what I am really doing is taking a snapshot in my mind. A photo. Just like the one of the little girl above. I know no details about the little girl, the background, why she is there, etc. It is up to me to make up all that stuff. Don't you think that is exciting, dot?
The snapshot I have taken in my mind is a snapshot of the future where I want to be. IT IS AS REAL AS THE PHOTO ABOVE.......
All I have to do now is create the story. Takes a long time, like any story. But it's fun. It's what I want to do. It's MY STORY......
Can you think of a good story to attach to the photo above?
THEN ??????????
