ONE"BECOME IT" , BE ONE WITH IT....
"One SONG can spark a moment
One FLOWER can wake the dream
One TREE can start a forest
One BIRD can herald spring
One SMILE begins a friendship
One HANDCLASP lifts a soul
One STAR can guide a ship at sea
One WORD can frame the goal
One VOTE can change a nation
One SUNBEAM lights a room
One CANDLE wipes out darkness
One LAUGH will conquer gloom
One STEP must start each journey
One WORD must start a prayer
One HOPE will raise our spirits
One TOUCH can show you care
One VOICE can speak with wisdom
One HEART can know what is true
One LIFE can make a difference."

Read slowly and understand that there is more meaning beyond the surface of those words.
I'm sure you have seen many people stare for long periods at a famous art piece at an exhibition. I did recently at a Monet exhibition. I would stare at the painting from twenty different angles. I would look WITHIN the painting to find stuff inside the outer layer. I tried to 'BECOME' the artist to understand the work. I tried to 'GROK IT'. To explain.......
'GROK' means to understand so thoroughly that the observer
becomes a part of the observed—to merge, blend, intermarry, lose identity in group experience. It means almost everything that we mean by religion, philosophy, and science—and it means as little to us (because of our Earthling
assumptions) as color means to a blind man.
According to the book, drinking is a central focus on Mars, where water is
scarce. Martians use the merging of their bodies with water as a simple example or symbol of how two entities can combine to create a new reality greater than the sum of its parts. The water becomes part of the drinker, and the drinker part of the water. Both 'grok' each other. Things that once had separate realities become entangled in the same experiences, goals, history, and purpose.
Within the book, the statement of divine immanence verbalized between the main characters, "Thou Art God", is logically derived from the concept inherent in the term grok.
So what's all this got to do with anything? Well, the word "GROK" was a made up word by a sci-fi writer. But then the meaning within was taken up by many academics and entrepreneurs. To 'GROK' has become a well used term within the Computer Programming Industry to explain that to understand the real meaning of some language you must first "BECOME" a part of that language.
Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple and one of our greatest innovators used the word "GROK" regularly to get his employees to better understand that to really know something one must become "ONE" with it.
Previously I have written about the statement "the whole is greater than the sum of all it's parts". I have also written about Universal 'One-ness'. When you look at the meaning of "GROK" and becoming "ONE" with the meaning of whatever you are trying to digest, it will help you gain a greater understanding of the completeness of the source. The Universal One-ness is simply understanding the 'whole' of our existence. It is the opportunity to find your ME......... So when you look at that great painting, or study the philosophical meaning behind the words of our great writers, take the time to become ONE with the art. In other words, take the time to......
