I have been preparing this stuff for a long time. Malcolm Gladwell in his book "Outliers" talks about the 10,000 hours of preparation to become successful and relates it to some very interesting people, the Beatles, Bill Gates and others, if I remember correctly. Well since I have been in La Chateau preparing my comeback I am well over that figure, nearly twice that amount in fact. Because I am broke I haven't had the resources to pour into my repair so the recovery process has been frustratingly slow BUT, I can assure you that the longer it takes the better the end product. Which leads me to "Mary". I knew that a book wasn't enough because how do people know it is available for purchase on-line. So I painfully created the site which you are now on and it might be easy for some but for me it was a frustratingly slow process. But again same problem, how do people know about my web site? I decided the best way was to Work Backwards. Rather than ring everybody on bended knees to beg I knew that if I had a good enough story they would ring me.
Well halleluhia brother! My hunch was right and this week the exposure, especially media has been astonishing. I mean off the planet amazing!!!
As I have said I have decided to completely re-invent myself, giving away my past Corporate life and create some skills and talents I have never used before. One of those was composing some songs. And I have found I am good at it, very good. But there had to be one song that would grab global exposure. That song I was going to call "Mary" but I have now re-named it "Nursery Rhymes". And it rocks!
Along with my poems, particularly Mister SomeOne Out-There, and a lot of comedy clips and interesting information relating to my comeback, I have developed a Pilot for a one hour television show called "Chasing Trigger's Dream" where I will create the song live on television. It will be a blast and the song will top the charts! Seriously. Sounds interesting, huh? I'm working on it now and it won't be far away. So keep watching.
Chow for now.
