If you have been watching the last 10 posts I hope you were able to have a bit of a giggle at my light hearted frivolity. Hopefully I made y'all have a bit of a think about what it is all about, or more specifically what life is all about. Yesterday we got up to half the average age, about 40 years old when we are right in the middle of Busyness. Our lives are hectic with work and family commitments. There is little time left to enjoy what we have and most of us find the enjoyment in sitting in front of the television or computer. Right? Hmmmmm, kinda sad when you think about it, no? Don't worry that's the way that society makes us live. Oh, and who created this 'society' thing? Yep, of course WE (as in mankind) did.
But in spite of all of this some of us are content, happy even. The kids are great kids, healthy as, the mortgage is paid off and the house is yours, you like your job and your favourite team just won the grand final. It must be Nirvana!
BUT IT'S NOT.......
Even if you are one of the minority who are living in a world of pure bliss, and life is great there is a problem.
SOON IT'S GUNNA FINISH! Whether you are 20 or 70 the clock is ticking. The heartbeats, breaths and seconds are diminishing rapidly. If you are happy, trust me, you can be happier. If you are suicidal then you can make it a whole lot better.
I probably sound like the Grim Reaper and you really don't want to talk about that TABOO subject of DEATH and you are not going to read my blog any more if I keep up this ridiculous doomsday banter.
Well sorry but it is very important that I make this point, that I keep up the "Memento Mori" ("Remember You Will Die") messages, because maybe, just maybe, even possibly, you will LIVE a happier, more fulfilling LIFE, by thinking of DEATH.
What's more I am going to do it by WORKING BACKWARDS, the title of my book. The last 10 episodes of my little EVOLUTION DRAMA have prepared the way.
So tomorrow tune in. It's too much for one day so make sure you have a blog log tomorrow......
