"How do I find what life's about
Unless I venture farther out
Something in me is not content
Something affirms that I am meant
for more, and so I have to try
And see if somehow I can fly
Going beyond the edge of things
I may find out that I have wings
Though they be a different kind
Than birds, being mainly in the mind
Whatever now I seem to be,
Yet more is to be found in me"
- James Dillet Freeman, 1912-2003
But to write you must have something to write about, right? Hmmmm...... hold on, that doesn't sound write. Oh. I don't think I'm write what I just rote. Hold on I think I'm getting confused with with my righting. Oh. Oh dear. I'm not making sense anymore. People won't read me if I don't get it write. Something's happened to me. It isn't write anymore. Do you think it's dementia, dot? Now i can't understand because the words are not write, and if I don't get it write nobody will understand what I am trying to say. D'ya know what I mean then? Write....... let's try this again. OhK.
See, just a little slip up with your words can cause huge problems with getting a message to be understood by the reader. The words are the communication of your feelings. Your emotions. The thingies in your MIND.
So, in order to get a story out there, I must ensure that the person(s) I am writing to can UNDERSTAND my words because they are my communication device. The reader cannot read my mind, and they cannot see or feel the emotions inside me. So I can either tell them by talking, or I can express my feelings in words. And if I use words I must get them write. Ooooooops, now I got it, I mean right!
But even if I get the words right (finally got it write!) readers won't tune in unless the words I express on paper, have meaning. That's where the CONTENT comes in. The meaning of the words per se. The CONTENT is the STORY, the MEANING behind the words. So......
Now once I have something to right about I have to think about the audience I am hoping to attract and that will depend on the CONTENT and the STORY, write? If it is a good story, something that interests the audience you are trying to attract, then it is soooooo important that you get the WORDS write. Obviously. And of course the grammar is paramount. For example no one word sentences and use commas where they should be used, write? OhK. This is going along swimmingly, huh?
And corect speling is esential. Computers usualy have a spel check thingie, so if you are not confident with speling your words you should use it. i think I should be OhK. no need for spel checks. And use capital letters when required particularly at the beginning of sentences
Now in my case i am spending a lot of time in the world of the homeless, write dot? Probably way tooooo much time, especially at the moment. But it gives me unlimited CONTENT for my STORY. So because I have the STORY it is simply a matter of getting the righting write. And as you can see I am pretty good at words now, hey dot?
Mmmmm Hmmmm. Yep. Cry. See the stories I have to talk about are pretty emotional. Downright sad most of the time. And when I get to those saaad bits I start crying. Depending on how sad the story is depends on how much I cry. Yesterday was a tear jerker. 45 minutes of saaad. Oh dear. I don't think they understood one thing I said. They couldn't understand the WORDS and that's because I couldn't SAY the WORDS. But I must have cried well because they all clapped me in the end. And that's what it's all about, write?
Anyway, the purpose of my Journey, is to INSPIRE people by seeing me go from rock bottom to Happiness Hotel. And as you can tell i have got the WORDS write. I can talk them and right them reeeelly well. I got the stroy and the experinces to right about. Now do you understand why i want you all on my journey. if i can right you can right. And even if you can't right like me, if you try and give a talk, no matter what it's like they'll still clap you in the end. just be real passionate and cry, even if you have to fake it. Just follow me on my journey and you'll be write.
And just remember, if you can right emotional SONGS songs like Bob Dylan, Adele and Enya, you could even end up rich as well as happy. How coooool's that!
PS I'll get betterererer by tomorrow, I promise. I'm reading a book about righting!
